MY TAKE: Is Akesse Brempong's 'HEAL OUR LAND' Album Worth Buying?

Image
Known for timeless songs like ' God is working' ,Crazy Love ,Closer,Bongo Worship and many others, celebrated Ghanaian  reggae might and gospel singer Akesse Brempong on 12th November, 2019 released his third studio album titled Heal Our Land.
The album which comes after his ' songs in the night ' and ' west hills live ' released in 2014 and 2017 respectively is a 13 track album which tells the tales of two cities i.e. Kumasi and Accra.

Celebrated Ghanaian reggae and gospel singer, Akesse Brempong has released his much anticipated third album titled ‘Heal Our Land’, a complete package of beautiful songs from the gospel reggae/ragga champion.
The 13 track album which tells ‘A Tale of Two Cities’, is the compilation of songs he recorded live at Kumasi City Mall and from Mantse Agbona, James Town in Accra also referred to as ‘British Accra’.
The multi-genre album is tipped to be an artistic knit of Akesse Brempong’s signature Reggae, Afropop and Spontaneous Worship styles presented with a contemporary Ghanaian appeal.

The ‘God is Working’ hitmaker without a doubt has grown to become the champion in the sub-genre of gospel reggae/ragga music. He has for some time now and in this album added a…

What Is Next For Enuonyam ?

Image
The past three years have seen the emergence of some talented and anointed men and women of God who have been marked as the front liners of Ghana's gospel industry.
Spreading across the various sectors of the industry, one person who has become a talk of them is the soulful minstrel called Enuonyam.
The talented songstress after bursting on to the mainstream stage of Ghana's gospel industry with her 2018 released 'Charged' song, seem to have recoiled despite having one of the biggest gospel songs from an 'upcoming' gospel act.

With the about eight minutes song from Enuonyam getting much attention from the youth,  mainly  high school and university students, one may say that Enuonyam together with her team will pay attention to their new found ears and be consistent with their contents but the young singer who happens to be a member of Overflow Incorporated, a popular music group based in Ghana has shown no sign of what is next for her listeners and industry fo…
